JM CUSTOM PAINT
PAINT BOOTH
05
PREPARATION

Every high-end paint job starts long before the first colour is sprayed.
The frame is carefully inspected and any imperfections are taken care off. Old paint layers are sanded down to create the right surface for adhesion. Areas that must remain paint-free are masked and protected before an appropriate primer is applied.
Once cured, the primer is sanded smooth to create an even foundation for the paintwork.
06
PAINTWORK

This is where the design comes to live.
Base colours are applied first, followed by fades, metallics, effects, graphics, logos and masked details. More complex designs are built up in multiple stages, with careful preparation between layers.
Each element is applied individually rather than rushed in one pass, allowing the finish to remain clean and controlled.
07
CLEARCOAT

When all colours and graphics are complete, the frame is sealed with a durable 2K clear coat, protecting the paintwork and adding depth to the finish.
Gloss, satin and matte finishes each require their own finishing process. After curing, the surface is carefully refined before the final clear coat is applied and the frame moves into its final finishing stage.
08
FINAL FINISH

Depending on the chosen finish, the frame receives its final clear coat and finishing work.
High-gloss projects are polished to create a deep, reflective finish. Satin or matte finishes are treated differently to preserve the intended surface.
Before leaving the studio, every frame is inspected closely for consistency, finish and detail.
CLEAR COMMUNICATION
